When you first contact us, an initial assessment and consultation will be organised with an orthopaedic surgeon to discuss your condition in detail, review any recent diagnostic tests you’ve already had and/or carry out further tests. These may include MRI scans, CT scans, and X-rays. You’ll also be asked to fill in a detailed questionnaire to provide more information about your symptoms. We’ll then be able to advise you about whether Lipogems adipose therapy is the right choice for you.
When you decide to go ahead, you’ll have an opportunity to discuss the treatment in much more detail with your specialist, who will be able to answer any further questions.

The procedure we propose takes advantage of a technology that processes body fat without altering it in order to protect and support the damaged tissue. The fat tissue is injected into specific areas of the body to create an ideal environment for tissue repair.
Fat can be easily harvested by a minimally invasive procedure that only asks for deep sedation. This simple procedure can be completed in about one hour in the maximum safety of an operating theatre.
A small quantity of fat tissue is generally harvested from the patient’s waistline through a small incision. The harvested tissue is then processed by a special device that washes it in a sterile saline solution and micro-fragments, reducing it into small clusters whilst maintaining its beneficial and structural properties. The fat is then injected into the body’s damaged area.
Last but not least the recovery time is minimal.
